Simply contact me with the dates you wish to join and I will tell you if there is a workshop on this date and space available, or advise of other available dates.

Upon confirmation that you would like to join your name will be added to the list for the date required. You do not need to pay anything at this stage. Once the minimum number of people is reached then you will be contacted with the details and upon confirmation that you wish to join you will be invoiced for the full amount, which must be paid at least one month before the workshop date, unless otherwise agreed or booking was made closer to the date.

Bespoke workshops

  • Bespoke workshops are available for groups of at least 10 in England, Ireland or Slovenia. Contact me if you are a group interested


Once a booking is agreed you will be sent an invoice for payment, which must be paid at least one month before the workshop date, unless otherwise agreed or booking was made closer to the date. Payment can be made by bank transfer, paypal or personal cheque.


If your workshop is cancelled for any reason by me then a full refund will be given, or you will have the chance to join another group. Should you cancel for any reason after payment has been made then a full refund will be given up to two weeks before the workshop date, but after that a full refund will only be given if I have a minimum of four people on the date of your booking.

What you need to do:

You will need to arrange your own flights (if necessary) or transportation. If needed, I can give you information on transport to and from places.

Holiday Booking information                                                                                                                                         


Once a booking is agreed you will be sent an invoice for payment, which must be paid at least 14 days before the holiday start date, or booking was made closer to the date. Payment can be made by bank transfer, paypal or personal cheque. If you book a tour of 8 days of more then a 30% deposit is required within 10 days of the booking.

Holidays are booked through me using the Helia Tourist agency so their terms and conditions are as follows:


Each tour price is per person, generally based on double bedroom occupancy. In some locations participants may occupy larger rooms/suites/apartments for more than two persons. Participants signing up individually, if they wish so, will be assigned roommates of the same sex. In most tours there is a limited number of single-occupancy rooms available, for those paying the extra supplement. Singles supplement will only be charged for those requiring single-occupancy rooms. Daily breakfast will be provided at the hotels. Dinner will be provided at the standard restaurant, beverages will be provided by the clients.


Our prices include only what is listed in programmes and do not include airfares or other transportation costs to, from and around Slovenia.

Reservations and Deposit

To keep our tours a top-quality experience we recommend you reserve early to avoid disappointment. To reserve a tour of 8 or more days, a deposit of 30% of the final price must be paid. Deposit payment needs to be made within 10 days. Details are to be sent with the Registration Form, which in all cases, must be (electronically) signed and faxed or mailed back.

Final Payment

Final payment is due 14 days before the tour begins. If we do not receive final payment in the designated period, we assume your booked trip is cancelled.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you cancel your booking 60 or more days before the tour begins you will be refunded the paid deposit less a Cancellation Fee of €100 (approx. US$110). After these dates there will not be a deposit refund. Refunds on total price paid will be of 60% for cancellations received within 40 to 59 days before tour begins, and 40% for cancellations received within 15 to 39 days before tour begins. There will not be refunds for cancellations received within 14 days of tour begin.
Cancellations must be made in writing; the date received in Helia Travel Agency office applies for refund policies.


Helia Travel Agency reserves the right to refuse participation prior to or during a trip to any individual whose behaviour and/or attitude interfere with general enjoyment and well-being of other tour members and if anyone, participant or Helia Travel Agency staff, is endangered by this individual. In case any of the above mentioned happens Helia Travel Agency will not be liable to refund or pay any compensations as such. In no case Helia Travel Agency is not liable to refund for unused services.

Rights of a Travel agent

Helia Travel Agency reserves the right to change itineraries or tour arrangements if necessary or by what is known as "force majeure". In the case of a tour cancellation by Helia Travel Agency, registered participants will be refunded in total amounts paid to Helia Travel Agency which is not liable for any payments or compensations due to additional expenses such as non-refundable advance purchase airline tickets.

Bicycles and Equipment

Our bicycles are of quality up to international standards, produced by renowned makers, Hybrid bikes of 21-speed. Hybrid bikes have a rear rack, side pannier and lock. On a Helia Travel Agency tour a participant is liable for using the bike, damage other than the normal wear & tear, and in case of theft. Additional extra insurance may be arranged, covering theft and mayor breakdown.
For comfort and safety regulations you must wear a helmet, up to international standards of safety, at all times when riding a bike. Helia Travel Agency has no responsibility for clients' own bikes.


Two pieces of baggage not exceeding 20 kgs (44 lbs) per person is allowed. Any loss or damage to baggage (or) belonging are not responsible to the company. However, the company will assist for claims.


Helia Travel Agency is fully insured according to the law for its activity, third part liability, work accidents for staff, and car passengers on our vehicles. We recommend all participants to ensure your Travel Insurance has adequate coverage for cancellation and recund, luggage, medical expenses and repatriation, death and permanent disability.

Image Use

Helia Travel Agency reserves the right to use without charges any photographs or images of any kind from participants for bona fide promoting and marketing purposes.


This terms and conditions may only be waived by a manager of Helia Travel Agency in writing. When you sign the Registration Form you agree to accept all this conditions, and when we accept your reservation we agree to carry out our obligations to you as defined in this document and other information provided to you.

Unforeseeable circumstances and responsibility

You must accept, for participation in a Helia Travel Agency tour, that it is necessary the normal flexibility of an adventure outdoor activity and acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results are possible. Neither Helia Travel Agency nor any person assisting is responsible for any loss, injury, damage, accident, delay or irregularities sustained by the clients including those occurred outside the tour programs. The company does not accept responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in other services, accident, sickness, weather, strikes, war and other causes of unforeseen circumstances.
