WHY A PHOTO TOUR TO BHUTAN
The backdrop to this photography tour is a small Kingdom nestled in the eastern Himalayas, between Tibet, China, and India, rich in ancient traditions, Buddhist sites, friendly people, and a vast expanse of natural beauty.
Carried from generation to generation, and still in practice today, the cultural heritage in Bhutan is strong and unique. This is a place that has defied globalization and chosen to remain a hidden gem. Very few make it to Bhutan, and even the most seasoned travelers consider a privilege to visit.
The flawless combination of photographic opportunities and a pristine environment is what makes Bhutan a paradise for photographers.
More than a photo tour, this is an authentic expedition to document and photograph the places and culture to one of the few untouched places on earth.
The spirit of this kingdom will spark your awareness and creativity. The natural beauty of Land of the Thunder Dragon will resonate in your heart for years to come through the photographs you will make in this photo tour.
OUR PHOTO TOUR TO BHUTAN
Our Bhutan photo tour is an extraordinary adventure, limited to only eight participants.
Designed to take you to the most stunning locations, this photo tour to Bhutan will guide you to places often overlooked, even for the people that visit here.
Since flights to Paro are limited, our group will gather in Bangkok, and from there, we will fly together to the Paro International Airport in Bhutan.
Our photo adventure will take us east to the remote valley of Tashigang. To avoid back-tracking and save time, we will take a domestic flight there. By heading to Tashigang, first, we will travel only in one direction, west, to our starting point Paro, thereby avoiding long travel times by vehicle. In this manner, we will move only in one direction, rather than both ways, giving us more time for photography than on other similar tours.
We will start our adventure in Paro and fly east to Tashigang; from there, we will explore Tashi Yangtse, Mongar, Gangtey, Trongsa, Bumthang, and of course, Punakha and Thimpu.
During our journey, we will photograph and interact with locals, monks, visit farmhouses, monasteries, and stunning fortresses not to be found anywhere else, all framed by the majestic Himalayan mountain range.
A photo tour and adventure certainly not be missed, with exceptional opportunities to capture images and memories that will last a lifetime.
