- Yes
This immersive 4-night Beginners Astrophotography Workshop is designed for those passionate about capturing the night sky with a camera. This course will guide you through the fundamentals and techniques of astrophotography, all in one of the best stargazing locations in the world—Tenerife.
Tenerife’s Astrophotography Advantages:
NASA has ranked the Canary Islands among the world’s top three stargazing destinations, following Chile and Hawaii. NASA describe The Canaries as a “Window to the Universe”.
Prime Location
A Certified Starlight Reserve – Some of the clearest, darkest skies in the world.
Situated at 28 degrees above the equator, the island offers a unique vantage point to see further south, making it possible to photograph the rich colours of the Milky Way’s core—something not visible from the Northern countries.
Perfect Conditions
High-altitude shooting locations – Above the clouds for crystal-clear views.
Minimal cloud cover, minimal light pollution and low humidity make Tenerife ideal for capturing stunning images of galaxies, nebulae, and the Milky Way.
Diverse Opportunities
Tenerife offers unique celestial sights every season. The lunar-like landscape provides countless opportunities for nighttime landscape photography, known as nightscape, enhanced by the striking and unusual rock formations.
