General Overview
To keep our group small and to be able to give attention when needed, this workshop is limited to 8 participants. $695 person
Orlando International Airport is approximately an hour from Merritt Island.
Join me for a photographic adventure in enchanted locations to see birds and other wildlife in a wild and natural habitat. To date, 359 bird species have been identified at the Merritt Island Refuge. The Orlando Wetlands is home to alligators and a wonderful variety of birds, including easily seen raptors. Both locations are easy walking, especially Merritt Island as we’ll be driving the loops/roads and can park when something of interest presents itself.
Orlando wetlands has a boardwalk through part of the park and is easy trail walking. Natural trails may be a bit uneven at times. This event is suitable to photographers of all levels looking to learn new skills, improve on existing skills, review post processing techniques and have location assistance and guidance. Fun and enjoyment is the name of the game for my workshops! Expect to laugh, learn and make new friends.
The workshop will begin at 3pm on Monday the 3rd and end on Thursday the 6th at 11am. A post processing/review session will be held during the workshop so if you would like to participate please bring your laptop/tablet. Scheduling of location visits and workshops is fluid based on weather or other unforeseen park schedule changes. A more detailed syllabus will be emailed to participants after sign-up is completed.
