Israel and Petra Photography Workshop

We welcome fellow photography enthusiasts to experience the fascinating land of Israel with your camera. Israel Photography Tour has created a private, one-on-one 6 day itinerary with a choice of either including the northern region of the Galilee and Golan Heights, or the southern region of the Dead Sea, Masada and Negev desert. You will also have the option of including a 3 day extension to the Desert wilderness of Wadi Rum and the ancient Nabatean city of Petra in Jordan. The workshop will be lead by Laurie Cohen, the founder of the company with over 30 years experience in leading photo workshops around the world. The 6 day Israel / 9 day Israel & Petra itinerary has been carefully created from years of experience in leading photography tours and workshops in this part of the Middle East, and one that covers landscapes, street photography, architecture and environmental portraits.

For such a small country, Israel has a highly varied topography with some unique geological formations found nowhere else. With a history dating back thousands of years and a variety of fascinating ethic groups, you could say that for the avid travel photographer, Israel has it all. From street photography in Tel Aviv, discovering ancient architecture in Jerusalem, shooting environmental portraits in Acre, seascapes of the beautiful Roman ruins on the beaches of Caesarea, remnants of the Yom Kippur war in the Golan Heights, capturing the essence of spirituality in the northern town of Tzfat to photographing stunning landscapes at the Dead Sea and Negev desert, we are confident that your time spent in Israel with us will be a productive and educational photographic experience and a highlight of your trip to the region.
