Choose from small group sessions or one-on-one guidance to tailor your learning experience.

Workshop Overview

Our black and white workshops feature immersive photo walks through the vibrant streets of London. You’ll master techniques such as:

  • Long Exposures: Capture the passage of time in a single frame.

  • High Contrast Metering: Enhance dramatic effects and depth.

  • Multiple Exposures: Layer images for a surrealistic touch.

  • Minimalism and Graphic Architecture: Focus on clean lines and structural elements.

  • Abstraction of People: Transform everyday scenes into abstract art.

In addition, you’ll learn the conventions of composition and street photography to craft compelling narratives through sequences of images.

The Power of Abstraction

Abstract photography allows you to express emotions and aesthetics beyond literal representation. This genre encourages a departure from traditional perspectives, pushing both photographers and viewers to see the world through a more conceptual lens. Key aspects of abstract photography include:

  • Shape and Tonality: Highlighting the essential components of visual composition.

  • Pattern and Texture: Creating depth and interest through intricate details.

  • Light and Shadow: Transforming ordinary subjects into mesmerizing studies of contrast and form.

  • Extreme Close-Ups: Revealing hidden details that often go unnoticed.

In addition, you’ll learn the conventions of composition and street photography to craft compelling narratives through sequences of images.
