Nestled on the border between Texas and Louisiana, Caddo Lake exists as a world apart—a labyrinth of bayous, sloughs, and cypress swamps that feels more like a dreamscape than a terrestrial location. The sight of ancient Bald Cypress trees, draped in Spanish Moss and rising from the mirror-like blackwater, creates a scene of ethereal mystery.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, meet-and-greet, assign kayaks, and a sunset shoot at one of the best Caddo Lake photography spots.
Day 2-3: Sunrise boat sessions, classroom instruction on Texas Bayou photography tips, and a golden-hour shoots.
Day 4: Final sunrise session, group image review, and farewell.
NOTE: Most of our time on the water during this workshop will be in wide/flat bottom kayaks allowing access deep within the cypress trees of Caddo Lake.

Location: Uncertain, Texas.
Closest Airport: Shreveport, LA (45-minute drive), or Dallas, TX (2 1/2 – 3 hour drive)
Transportation: Renting a car is recommended for easy access to the lake and workshop meeting points, unless you are driving yourself from your home location.
