Capture the beauty of Japan and experience its culture, nature and vibrant cities.
The photo tour starts in Tokyo, a mixture of the ultramodern and the traditional, from neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples. Exploring the ancient town of Kamakura, a seaside Japanese city just south of Tokyo, a prominent resort town with dozens of Buddhist Zen temples, Shinto shrines and the Great Buddha. We then take the shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, the former capital, famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces and traditional wooden houses to end the tour in Osaka, known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food. We’ll be staying at 3-star accommodations.
This in-depth photo tour is all about street, still life and travel photography. Except walking the streets we will visit temples, shrines, lively markets, (Zen) gardens, city’s popular spots and cultural attractions. There’s so much to see and to do in amazing Japan. And I will show you… on this 8-day photo tour. Although we have a planning to visit the most beautiful spots, it’s still flexible.
