Description:
Embark with us on an unforgettable adventure as we travel from Nairobi to the Samburu National Reserve, then continue to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos. Next, we’ll visit the tranquil Lake Naivasha before heading to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve for the spectacular Great Migration. This itinerary offers an incredible opportunity to experience Africa’s finest wildlife in some of its most breathtaking settings! Highlights of this tour include:
Maasai Mara– The Maasai Mara is one of Kenya’s most famous and iconic wildlife reserves, known for its incredible biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Located in the southwestern part of Kenya, it is an extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, which forms the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The migration involves dramatic river crossings, particularly at the Mara River, where crocodiles and predators often lie in wait for the herds.
Lake Nakuru National Park- the park is famous for its vast flocks of flamingos, as well as its populations of rhinos (both black and white), waterbucks, and giraffes. Lake Nakuru’s mix of forest, grasslands, and wetlands also makes it ideal for bird watchers.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy– Ol Pejeta is one of the best places in Kenya to see the critically endangered black rhino. It’s also home to a chimpanzee sanctuary and offers a more private, conservation-focused safari experience.
Samburu National Reserve – Located in the semi-arid region of northern Kenya, Samburu is known for its unique species that aren’t typically found in other parts of the country. The reserve is home to the “Samburu Five,” a collection of rare animals like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Somali ostrich.
Lake Naivasha – Lake Naivasha is known for its rich ecological diversity. It is home to a variety of bird species, making it a popular destination for birdwatchers. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded around the lake, including waterfowl, herons, and the endangered African Fish Eagle. The lake also supports a variety of wildlife, such as hippos, which are a common sight, as well as numerous species of fish and other aquatic life.
What sets this safari apart from others? This exclusive tour is designed for a small group, ensuring personalized attention throughout the experience. We’ll be traveling in a specially equipped 4×4 safari vehicle that maximizes visibility, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Our experienced guide and driver, with deep expertise in wildlife, cultural insights, and photography techniques, will carefully position the vehicle to capture the best shots in the most flattering light.
Accommodations will be at top-tier safari camps offering excellent amenities, delicious meals, well-appointed rooms, and stunning views. While the focus will be on wildlife photography, we’ll also immerse ourselves in the surrounding landscapes, capturing the beauty of sunrises, sunsets, and the natural environment, as well as exploring local cultural aspects. The intimate group size allows for greater flexibility—enabling us to spend more time in areas of interest and cater to each guest’s individual needs and photography goals. We’ll also dedicate time for personalized photo processing sessions and image reviews, either during or after the trip. Above all, the safari is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable, and immersive, with plenty of free time to savor the beauty of the natural world around us.
