- Lake District Photo Tour – 8-Day Autumn Landscape Photography Workshop
Join UK Photo Tours for an 8-day landscape photography workshop across the Lake District, one of England’s finest landscapes for photography. Over eight days we visit Ullswater, Derwent Water, Buttermere and the Great Langdale Valley, chasing sunrise reflections, jetties, and mist over the fells, with a flexible itinerary built in to shoot to local conditions rather than a fixed plan.
Led by professional photographer Dion Hitchcock, the small group (max 5 photographers) covers camera settings and composition for landscape work, filter technique with Kase Wolverine ND and polariser kits, reading changing light, and evening Lightroom walkthroughs of the day’s images.
The price includes full cottage accommodation in Keswick with en-suite bathrooms, complimentary return transport (if required) from central London in an 8-seat vehicle, Kase filter kits and backup camera gear to borrow, and full financial protection via Towergate Insurance. Two departures run in October and November 2026, each with a different mood: autumn gold on the fells, then winter’s low raking light. From £1,695pp.
You’ll learn camera settings and composition for landscape photography, how to use Kase Wolverine ND and polariser filters for long exposures and balanced skies, how to read changing Lake District light, and evening Lightroom post-processing walkthroughs on the day’s images.
