- Venice in Winter Photo Tour – December 2026
In winter, Venice reveals its most genuine and atmospheric face.
With the summer crowds gone, the city becomes quiet, atmospheric, and incredibly photogenic. The low sun creates long dramatic shadows, extended sunrises and sunsets, and a soft, ethereal light that beautifully illuminates palaces, canals, and the lagoon.
This small-group photo tour (maximum 5 participants) is perfect for photographers who want to capture the real essence of Venice without the stress of mass tourism.
You’ll photograph iconic locations in the best possible light, discover hidden corners of the Serenissima, and explore the Venetian Lagoon, including the beach at Lido.
Led by professional landscape and travel photographer Paolo De Faveri, you will receive full-time, personal guidance in the field.
The workshop also includes at least one image processing session to help you get the most out of your photos.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this easy-level tour is designed to deliver inspiration, great images, and a memorable experience in one of the world’s most magical cities in winter.
